Jimmy's place was lovely, modern, clean, well situated, and comfortable. I highly recommend staying at Jimmy's place. The cottage is located ideally in central Kirkwall and is walkable to all the local amenities. The cottage is beautiful and perfect for a weekend or longer, if we are in Kirkwall again we will definitely be staying again! Jimmy was an excellent host and made sure we were settled and had everything we needed.
I had just two nights in this little gem of a cottage, but wish I could have stayed longer. Very nicely done out with all mod cons. Quiet but close to everything and very amenable hosts. Excellent value. What a wonderful place to stay! It is a lovely space with everything you could need.
I made many of my meals in the kitchen, slept beautifully very comfortable bed! I loved his illustrated instructions for finding the cottage and locating the key. I would definitely stay here again. Absolutely amazing place with all the little touches you wouldn't expect. Photos dont do this place justice. Super place β homely, comfortable, stylish, and well thought out.
Would highly recommend. We needed it for a night but could easily stay longer. The cottage was great, clean, beautifully finished, easy walk to shops, pubs etc. Also great base with parking for exploring the island. Great location for the centre of Kirkwall. We parked on the street as builders were in but there was no problem with that.
Cottage is very clean. Great apartment. Host was very welcoming on arrival and communication was great prior to and during the stay. Location was perfect - just off the High street of kirkwall and supermarkets within a minute or two walk. Overall great flat and good location. Lovely place to stay in central Kirkwall and central Orkneys, making it easy to explore the North West on the first day and the South East on day 2.
